Best Breakfast Smoothie with Almond Milk

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Lots of people struggle at Breakfast time partly because they’re tired and often lacking inspiration. There are some great breakfast tips on Ren Behan’s Fabulicious Food.

This recipe is being submitted as part of the Almond Breeze and Foodies 100 competition to find interesting, nutritious Smoothies to start your day in the best  way. It is a seasonal one i.e. prepare when the fruit is ripe and in season and if not  make a different one or use frozen Mango and Peach. If you can buy the fruit from a local, independent shop, it might not be any cheaper but it will certainly taste  much better than fruit that has been chilled and packaged days earlier to sit on a shelf. Recipe Title: Peach, Mango, Banana and Almond Milk Smoothie

Serves: One Large Glass

You need:

1 teaspoon of Manuka Honey
250ml Almond Milk
1 Banana sliced
1 ripe Peach sliced
1/2 a ripe Mango (peeled and sliced)
1 tablespoon of oatbran or porage oats


You need to:
Put everything in a jug and blend with a stick whisk or a food processor. Pour into a large glass or two small ones. It should be quite dense to look at and a lovely shade of peachy yellow – feel the sun.
